The Harran logic: Ur Iraq → Harran (900 km) → Canaan follows the Fertile Crescent trade route exactly. If Abraham started from Urfa — only 44 km from Harran — Harran would be a day's walk, not a significant waypoint.

The Quran records Abraham's rescue from fire but never names Nimrod, never names Ur, and never names the city. The pool, fish miracle, and geographic assignment to Urfa all come from later Islamic commentary — not the Quran.
